USD Scores 2 new recruits

This week USD scored 2 commitments to kick off the incoming recruiting class.

Our first commit was Devin Hoovel (Montini Catholic, IL). Hoovel has primarily played wing and fullback throughout his time at Montini Catholic, located in Lombard, IL. He has been selected to the Midwest Thunderbird selects, as well as the Illinois all state team. Hoovel is a rapid player and we look forward to putting his speed to good use starting this Fall.

Our second commit was Logan Tatum (De La Salle, CA). Tatum has primarily played hooker, but can also play loose forward. Tatum was a part of the De La Salle team that won the CA state championship earlier this year, beating top 10 team teams Jesuit and Carlsbad in the process. We look forward to Tatum bringing his winning mentality and high work rate to the team starting this fall.

We are thrilled with both of these additions to the USD class of 2024. As we continue to grow into one of the best programs in the country, we are excited to add excellent players like Hoovel and Tatum.
