USD Reaches Semi Finals of Monterrey sevens

USD Rugby travelled up to Monterrey to take part in a sevens tournament at CSU Monterrey Bay. It was a mixed day for USD, with some disappointing results in pool play giving them a hard road to the final. A big win in the quarterfinal set up a semi final against Claremont Colleges. USD would lose this game 26-14, and would be the only team to score points against Claremont in the tournament. Strong performances were given by freshman Mark Boschetti, who scored 7 tries in the tournament, and junior Darren Seward.
